The "Projects ∙ Objects ∙ Play" ─ Tommy Li P.O.P. Design Show is organised by the HKHM to reflect Tommy’s achievements over 35 years in the design industry and his philosophical ideas about the economy, pop culture, art and design, and how foreign pop culture helps to influence and shape the Hong Kong’s culture. "Projects" refers to his previous representative cultural and commercial projects; "Objects" includes his personal selection of 97 objects that have been most influential in his design career, and "Play" reflects his perspectives on life, culture and society and design aesthetics.

香港文化博物館一直致力推廣本地設計，是次舉辦李永銓「玩‧物‧作」設計展，反映本地著名設計師李永銓的設計成就及創作理念。

展覽內容將環繞「玩‧物‧作」三個範圍︰「玩」— 他對人生、文化、社會、設計美學等觀點；「物」— 親自挑選了97項對他設計生涯最具影響力的物件；「作」— 他過去甚具代表性的文化及商業項目。展覽會展示李永銓的精選作品，包括海報、雕塑裝置，以及最新的木刻版畫系列。透過這些展品，讓觀眾認識李氏過去35年的設計歷程，以及他對社會經濟、流行文化、藝術及設計的哲學理念，並了解海外流行文化如何影響香港獨有文化的形成和特色。
